TCI 2013 Kolding: Call for proposals closes 1 April

TCI 2013 Kolding: A funny and creative conference

Are you looking forward to participating in this year’s TCI conference in Denmark? There are plenty of reasons to do so. At the moment we are putting together a team of excellent key note speakers, both practitioners and academics. We have received a lot of promising proposals which makes the tracks very promising. And last but now least we are organizing THE party of the year at the castle of Kolding where you can expect medieval atmosphere and great music.

16th TCI Annual Global Conference

"Designing the Future – Innovation through Strategic Partnerships"

3 – 6 September 2013, Kolding, Denmark

New deadlines
We have already received a lot of interesting proposals and we are looking very much forward to reading them.
Please note that the deadline for submitting a proposal has been extended to 1 May, so you still have the chance to submit your proposal.

Early bird registration has been extended until 1 June.

Call for specific cluster challenges to discuss in the Cluster Labs should be send to before 1 June.

Design characterizes the programme
We are working on making a great programme with excellent keynote speakers and interactive and different tracks. Very soon we will be able to announce the first speakers.

This year’s TCI Conference will not be a traditional conference – not at all. Kolding is known for the design cluster, Design2Innovate, where several companies have incorporated design in their products and processes. Design, and how to turn design into new ideas and innovation, will therefore create the natural foundation for the conference in Kolding. Funny and creative features and tools will therefore characterize the whole programme.

The Gala dinner will be held at the Castle of Kolding
We have planned a gala dinner with good food and great music which will take you on a journey back in time in the medieval and romantic surroundings.

The Gala dinner will take place on the 5th of September at the amazing Castle of Kolding (“Koldinghus”). The Castle of Kolding – Jutland's last royal castle – has played an important role in the history of Denmark throughout more than 700 years.

Cluster Labs
Our Cluster Labs are designed for addressing key questions that conference delegates have on their mind. Exploit the opportunity to pose a challenge you are facing in your everyday life and get feedback from your peers and experts at the Cluster Labs. The Cluster Labs are currently being designed in order to raise the bar for knowledge sharing, and we are looking forward to presenting the final concept soon. Remember to send your specific cluster challenge to before 1 May.
