Future city conference
CO2 neutral buildings, intelligent grids and information systems and energy plants using waste as a resource… The ideas and the visions are many, but how does the future city look? On the 20th and 21st of March 2012, The Open Smart City 2012 conference gives an estimate.
Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster invites its international network and other interested parties to see the future city at the Open Smart City 2012 conference. The conference will be held in Copenhagen on the 20th and 21st of March, and the starting point for the conference discussions on the future environmental city will be the Danish capital.
The key words for the conference are: ’Intelligent, green buildings’, ’smart grids’, ’water systems and waste water’ and ’waste as a resource’, and the Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster promises that the participants of conference will be meeting 10 of the most advanced cleantech clusters in the world.
The Danish cluster knows what is happening, when it comes to the latest cleantech technology. Every six months, the cluster participates in meetings with an international cleantech network, thus getting input from the entire world. The latest meeting was held in North Carolina, and in March they will be meeting at the conference in Copenhagen, and in November, Singapore will be the network meeting venue.
Business opportunities
At the conference, companies, knowledge institutions and political decision-makers of cleantech clusters from near and far will be presenting their proposals for the arrangement of the intelligent and environmental cities of the future. At the same time, the proposals represent unique business opportunities, and the conference is a possibility for other clusters and actors to network, make contacts and enter into new collaborations.
